Office of Administration & Finance
The Office of Administration & Finance is led by the Senior Vice President and the Associate Dean. In addition to providing leadership and support to its component Units below, the Office is also responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of the Research Foundation, the Bronx Educational Opportunity Center, the BCC Foundation, the Child Development Center, Auxiliary Enterprises, and the College Association; emergency planning; implementing technology to complement learning, teaching and administrative processes; University productivity initiatives; space utilization analysis; and construction and space assignment.

 

Administrative
Services

Administrative Services is comprised of the areas of Events Management, a campus space rental and use program, and Campus Services, which includes Duplicating, Mail & Audiovisual Services.

Business Office
The Business Office includes the following departments: Accounts Payable, Budget, Bursar, Payroll, Property Management, Purchasing, Receiving, and Related Entities/Auxiliary Services Operations, an area that works with outside contract vendors to operate the college cafeteria and vending machines, the campus bookstore, and coin-operated copy machines.

Campus Planning
Campus Planning spearheads all college construction projects, manages space planning, and works to ensure that campus facilities adhere to the guidelines of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Health & Safety
Health & Safety serves to promote and protect the health and safety of all college constituents. Working together with the offices of Campus Planning, Physical Plant Services, and Public Safety, the Health & Safety Office engages in occupational and environmental health and safety matters to ensure compliance to City, State and Federal regulations.

Human Resources
The Department of Human Resources provides services in the areas of Recruitment, Employment, Advancement, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Assistance, and Retirement, coordinates Financial Planning services, and maintains all personnel records for every staff member. More...

 

 

Information
Technology
Information Technology (IT) is responsible for all aspects of technology at the College. The IT group maintains all telephone, computer network, and alarm systems, and provides BCC e-mail accounts for students, faculty, and staff. More...

Physical Plant
Services

Physical Plant Services (PPS) is responsible for the operation of the central heating/building refrigeration plants and building automation system, technical interface with Campus Planning for capital projects, maintenance of electrical and mechanical building systems, landscaping and snow removal, custodial services, and site projects involving skilled tradesmen. PPS efforts help to ensure that the campus infrastructure is in compliance with established regulations. More...

Public Safety
Public Safety is a 24/7 operation whose officers patrol the campus and surrounding locations, enforce traffic and parking regulations, and respond to emergency situations In conjunction with the local NYPD precinct, the Department works on crime prevention and offers workshops and other services to the college community throughout the year.
