On behalf of the entire staff of the Admission and Recruitment Office, allow me to welcome you to our Website. At BCC we offer a wide variety of Degree and Certificate Programs in majors as diverse as Health Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Community, Legal and Social Services, and the Liberal Arts and Sciences, taught by a caring, nurturing faculty whose sole priority is your academic and professional growth. Most of these majors are easily transferable to four-year colleges, which makes BCC an affordable and realistic first step to a Bachelor’s or even graduate degree. All prepare students to work in entry-level positions. If you choose, there is no end to the exciting journey that begins here at BCC.

Our resourceful and committed students come from a multi-cultured background, and are all united by the strong sense of community they find on the college's beautiful, sprawling 50 acre Campus. We house the original Hall of Fame for Great Americans, a track and baseball field, an Olympic size pool, a dance studio, a dojo, and media facilities featuring a multi-million dollar television studio. The Campus features both modern and traditional award-winning buildings with state-of-the-art scientific and computer equipment, and many are newly renovated. The Campus is easily accessible by public transportation, and within easy reach of major Bronx thoroughfares.

At BCC, we are deeply aware of the importance of student life as a vital part of the educational experience. In this regard, we offer a wide range of student activities, with over 30 student clubs and organizations, in addition to many internship opportunities and a wonderfully supportive Office of Career Development. Clearly, the “total” experience of BCC is not confined to inside our classrooms, and we take great pride in this.
