BCC has grown with the times since opening its doors in the spring semester of 1959 at East 184th and Creston Avenue. The college moved to the University Heights campus, formerly occupied by New York University, in 1973 and currently has an enrollment of 8,300 students enrolled in 29 degree programs and 7 certificate programs which can be found in our Catalog.

Our alumni, including former students as well as graduates, are a source of pride representing accomplishments in a wide array of fields including business, education, engineering, law, medicine, nursing and science. Our new publication, Gateway, illustrates the achievements of many of our alumni.
