Below are brief directions on preparing information for a print or web project with Communications and Marketing. For the sake of efficiency, a project is not added to the active project list until all of the materials have been submitted. All documents are proofed to follow the College’s editorial standards before they are submitted to the designers. If there are questions about your copy, you will definitely be contacted before changes are made.
Print
Submit all of your copy that you would like to appear in your brochure in a MS Word document.
For imagery, you can either submit digital images, printed photos that we will scan or request new photos. We will have a photographer attend your event, class, club, etc. and take new photos if necessary. We also have an extensive library of photos that we can look through for appropriate imagery.
If it will help, we can give you samples of current brochures (both for academic departments and administrative offices) that follow the College’s graphic standards to reference.
You will have the opportunity to see a mock-up of your brochure and give your approval before it is sent for reproduction/printing.
Website

I have included several links below to academic sites that have been redesigned in the College’s current standards. The landing page is where departments can have individual elements that represent their department. The rest of the site is standard. We actually design the site and send a marked up document to IT and then they actually build the site.
