Defining What Matters

Automotive Technology

Automotive Technology

Sometimes it takes a woman to do a man's job. Car shops are desperately seeking auto-electricians, technicians, spray painters and professionals trained in all aspects of auto maintenance. Men still dominate the field. But women often find that gender is no barrier. Just ask Grace Claudio Class of 2010. We never promised we'd put her behind the wheel of a BMW. But we did get her under the hood of one. She went from an apprenticeship to an Associates degree in the only auto tech program in The City University of New York system. Her manager hired her on the spot. Have a passion for cars, trucks and motorbikes? Maybe there's a high performance, luxury vehicle in your future.
