Science for Forensics

You're strong in science – physics, chemistry, biology – and math. But you also have a passion for law, justice, public health, public safety and contributing to the betterment of society. Why not consider a career in forensic sciences, a field where you can combine your talents and interests sorting through essential information that can help separate fact from fiction?

Our major in Science for Forensics, a newly developed A.S. joint program with John Jay College, can put you on a fast track to a four-year degree from one of the nation's premier colleges of criminal justice. As a trained forensic science technician, you're fully prepared to enter an exciting field rich with opportunities in a variety of workplaces including law enforcement, testing laboratories and major university research facilities.
