BCC’s Gould Memorial Library Named One of the State’s Most Worthy of Being Saved
The Preservation League of New York State draws statewide attention to New York’s most important and at-risk historic places through its “Seven to Save” list of endangered places. The 2016-17 list includes Stanford White architectural treasure, BCC’s Gould Memorial Library. This year’s list draws attention to the plight of some of the State’s vacant or underused historic treasures. This important designation will assist with increasing public awareness, identifying resources and developing new usage plans for the endangered building.
