About Us

The Health Service Office is a center for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, health counseling and monitoring compliance with NYS Public Health Law and college health requirements. BCC students and staff are seen on a walk-in basis. Dorothy Muller, RN, the college nurse and director, is assisted by the office's secretary and student workers. Medical referrals and emergency triage are provided as needed. The office's comprehensive resource center offers up-to-date literature on a wide variety of health related issues and services. The office also sponsors campus-wide services, programs and events throughout the year. All enrolled students without health insurance may use the facilities of Morris Heights Health Care Center for a $10 co-payment.
