Student Support Services


Overview

Bronx EOC provides a comprehensive array of support services designed to assist students in successfully achieving their academic and occupational goals. Students receive help with personal adjustment, family problems, financial difficulties, health concerns, transportation and communication with other agencies.

Case Management

Services promote personal and interpersonal growth, self-awareness, decision-making, and communication skills. Services include pre-enrollment interview, academic advisement, referrals, advocacy and crisis intervention.

Academic Support Center

It is a library for student research, study and computer use. There are 24 personal computers with Internet access, available for student use when they are not in class. Lab assistants are available to assist students in the use of the library.

Employment Services

Provides career information and counseling, interview preparation and resume preparation. Students can expand their job knowledge by participating in 6-week internship.

GED Testing

The center is a GED testing site for both English and Spanish GED. This service is open to EOC students and community residents.
