Technology in the Classroom Showcase
The third annual OIT Faculty Technology Showcase was held on April 28, 2011. Over sixty guests attended this year's event. Guests from CUNY Computer and Information Services, Lehman College, and Medgar Evers College were in attendance. SVP George Sanchez (Academic Affairs) began the day with greetings, followed by introductory remarks from Dr. Howard Wach (OIT Director) and Albert Robinson (OIT Coordinator). Our keynote speaker was Daniel Cygielman, a Senior Account Executive at Apple, who gave a fascinating presentation about the educational potential of the iPad. Eight professors from various disciplines presented in the showcase.
