The Bronx Community College Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship Program

Eligibility


 

 


 

 The National Science Foundation, which funds this program, mandates that scholarship
recipients meet the following requirements:

Be United States citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens or aliens admitted as refugees;
Have financial need as defined by the U.S. Department of Education rules for Federal financial aid (Pell Grant);
Be enrolled full-time majoring one of the following: Computer Science, Engineering Science, Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology or Mathematics.

Applicants need not be enrolled at Bronx Community College at the time of application, but the scholarship can only be awarded if they are admitted to the college and enrolled full-time for the Spring 2003 semester.

Preference will be given to applicants who have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher, have finished any required basic skills courses, and have taken or are currently taking the first credit bearing course in English and Mathematics.
