How to Apply |

Students who meet the eligibility requirements (US citizens or permanent
resident, financial need, and degree enrollment criteria) will be evaluated
on their academic merits and potential.
Before being considered for the program applicants must submit:

Application Form (including the two essays) |
 |
Two (2) faculty recommendation forms from professors familiar with your
work |
 |
BCC Transcript (Transfer students should also include an official copy
of their other college transcripts for courses that are part of their
degree requirements.) |
Before final acceptance into the program applicants must submit:
 |
Certificate of financial need (FAFSA Form) |
 |
Proof of citizenship (copy of birth certificate or US passport) or
permanent residency (copy of green card) |

Social Security Card copy |

We are now considering applications for Spring 2003. Completed
applications should be submitted on or before November 5. Students will be
notified by mid December.
The academic merit of an applicant will be judged on grade point average,
particularly in the applicant’s major, letters of recommendation, and the
student’s essays.
Preference will be given to BCC students or high school students who have
finished the basic skills courses and their first credit bearing courses in
English and mathematics. An overall grade point average of 2.8 or higher is
required for admission to and continuation in the program.
