At Bronx Community College student support services helps students realize their full potential through innovative strategies that promote a holistic approach to student's success and engagement. We provide students with programs and services to enhance their intellectual, aesthetic, and social growth.

Academic Success Center

Advisement – assists students in selecting courses to make progress towards graduation.

COPE – College COpportunity to Prepare for Employment

A CUNY and HRA joint partnership program; also houses the Graduate Success Initiative (GSI).

Career and Transfer Services

Access to several jobs banks to the internet and resume and interviewing assistance.

Early Childhood Center

Early childhood education, activities, childcare, and meals for children of BCC students who are enrolled in the program.

Evening and Weekend Programs

Assist faculty and students with classroom assignments and scheduling conflicts.

Financial Aid

Assist with financial aid, work study, scholarship and student loan programs.

Fitness Center – Health Education and Wellness

Fitness equipment is provided as well as personal trainer advice.

General Counseling

Educational, developmental, and preventive counseling for first-year students to help them meet their academic and career goals.

Health Services

Treatment for minor illnesses and injuries; health counseling free HIV screening.

Technology Service Center

Information about technology services and techinal assistance.

International Student Services

Provides international students with advisement regarding immigration, cross-culture and personal matters.


Assist faculty and students with research via CUNY+ online catalog, CUNY E-resources, campus e-resources and a vast array of books.

Disability Services

Ensures access and equal educational opportunity to students with disabilities, and promotes self-advocacy and independence. A reasonable accommodation includes any service, alternative method, or modification of an educational practice. .

Psychological Services

Free and confidential short-term individual and group counseling to support academic success, emotional well-being and personal growth.

Single Stop

Information about HRA programs such as Medicade, food stamps, housing and public assistance. Financial counseling and legal advice also availably by appointment.

Student Life

Information on clubs and organizations, student government co-curricular programs and multicultural services.

Veteran and Military Resources

One-on-one assistance to students with military backgrounds.

Writing Center

Assistance writing improvement. Students can submit papers for assistances as well.
