The Art & Music Department
Welcome to the Department of Art and Music at BCC, where students can pursue different career paths and related activities, and make regular use of the opportunities presented by the superb cultural opportunities of New York City. We offer a variety of courses including studio courses like drawing, painting, photography and ceramics; computer courses like digital imaging, typography, 3-D animation and web design; art history courses; and digital and traditional music courses.
Our A.A.S. degree in Digital Arts degree program prepares students to go on to careers in Digital, Web and Graphic Design. The department also runs the Hall of Fame Art Gallery and regularly presents art and music evenets on campus.
The art office is located in Bliss Hall, room 303.
The music office is in Guggenheim Hall, room 203.
