Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC)

At BCC, faculty members and writing fellows participate in monthly WAC professional development seminars.  The seminars offer participants the opportunities to share teaching philosophies and ideas about how students learn, discuss teaching and learning successes and challenges, develop WAC-based classroom assignments and share samples of students’ responses, discuss shared texts concerning WAC theories and practices, and develop or redesign course syllabi, including writing intensive courses.

For more information, please contact Dr. Lynne Ticke at (718) 289-5667 or Dr. Tamar Rothenberg at (718) 289-5375.
