Summer Youth Police Academy (Free Program) Ages: 10 through 15 years old

The program takes only 100 youth on a first - come first - served basis. Applications are now available and can be downloaded off the computer at http://nyc.gov/nypd look for community affairs then youth programs. Or you may call (718) 843-8855 and ask for an application. The Summer Youth Police Academy is a free program where uniforms, equipment, meals, and trips are all paid for by the NYPD.
