Bronx Community College, a member of The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), seeks an Athletic Trainer. This part-time position services our student-athletes primarily at home games, practices, and during office hours weekly.
A Masters degree in Athletic Training or a related field
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
A minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience and requisite
certifications are required
Care and rehabilitation for athletic injuries and recovery
programs for student-athletes
Developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs
Consult with coaching staff regarding injuries, rehabilitation,
and strength and conditioning
Document all injuries and rehabilitation, communicating with
opposing administrators when necessary
Possess and maintain ATC, NATA and CPR/AED certifications
Organizing, administrating, and stocking athletic training room
Liaison to the student-athletes and the provider regarding
Ability to communicate with and treat a diverse student-athlete
$20,000 (15 to 25 hours per week is required)
