Bronx Community College/CUNY invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Engineering, Physics and Technology department at the Assistant Professor level. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in networking and cybersecurity. The Department seeks an innovative technologist having both a solid theoretical background and technical expertise in various areas of networking, internet and cybersecurity.

The department is engaged in the development of innovative associate curricula to educate students in emerging technologies and their application to business, science, the arts and other human endeavors. The position requires a commitment to teaching, scholarly research resulting in publications and presentations, sustained service to the department and college, and academic advisement. The candidate hired will be expected to participate actively in College/University-wide initiatives and function collaboratively in department level efforts, playing an active role in the creation, development, and assessment of department curricula.


Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related fields with expertise in networking and cybersecurity. Also required is the ability to teach successfully. Minimum of 3 years' college teaching experience.
