Pathways also applies to students who have returned to CUNY after an absence of more than one semester. If you are a continuing student who entered before Fall 2013, you will be able to choose whether you remain with your existing requirements or change to Pathways. The Department of Education has issued rules regarding Gainful Employment. All institutions of higher education that offer certificate programs are required to disclose on-time graduation rates, estimated cost of the program including books and fees, placement rate for students completing the program, median loan debt incurred by students who have completed the program and potential occupational careers.
