For faculty who use technology in the classroom (or those who are thinking about it!) this one-hour workshop offers practical strategies for using writing to help students think more deeply about course content. Specifically, the workshop looks at tools like PowerPoint, ePortfolio, blogging, and even social media in ways that will build writing/critical thinking skills. The workshop proposes a variety of techniques to help students focus on thesis, to organize their research and writing more effectively, and to engage in thoughtful conversation around course content. ________________________________________
