Important Information for Prospective Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Nuclear Medicine Technology Students

Students interested in pursuing the Nursing, Radiologic Technology (Rad Tech), or Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) programs should declare the Health Sciences: Healthcare Careers Preparation major while completing prerequisite coursework.

Please note that students can no longer directly declare Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Nuclear Medicine Technology as their Pre-Clinical major. Admission to these clinical programs is competitive and requires completion of specific prerequisite courses and a separate application process.

Once a student has completed the required prerequisites and is admitted to their desired clinical program, their major will be officially changed to Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Nuclear Medicine Technology.

We encourage students to carefully review the admission requirements for their program of interest and meet regularly with an academic advisor to ensure they are on track for eligibility and application deadlines.
