OPERATION DEVICE DROP DEVICES DROPPED
Bronx Community College’s Operation Device Drop went into action at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 24. By 1:30 p.m. all objectives had been achieved. A team of half a dozen Broncos, including President Thomas A. Isekenegbe, Provost Lester Rápalo and other administrators and staff, visited homes across the Bronx and Manhattan and personally delivered distance learning devices into the hands of ten incoming BCC students, along with shirts and pens and other college-themed swag.
“What we’re doing today, really, is to reach out to the community,” BCC President Thomas A. Isekenegbe told CBS-TV local news, which joined the welcome wagon at one of its stops. “What a wonderful way to meet and welcome our new students!”
