President Larry D. Johnson, Jr. recently hosted a Town Hall at the State University of New York Bronx Educational Opportunity Center (SUNY Bronx EOC), bringing together faculty, staff, and administrators for a focused conversation on the Center’s future. The visit emphasized a clear next step: moving from listening to action. 

Building on the insights shared, the Center will begin developing a multi-year strategic roadmap aligned with the Bronx Renaissance 2031 plan and the priorities established by SUNY. The effort will center on strengthening student access and success while deepening the Center’s impact across the Bronx and beyond. 

President Johnson thanked SUNY Bronx EOC community members for their engagement and collaboration, noting that their perspectives will play a critical role in shaping the path forward. He also recognized the leadership of Ronnie Hector and the entire Center team, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing opportunity through education.
