October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and encourage everyone to prioritize their health.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the College is pleased to announce a collaboration with St. Barnabas Hospital to bring a mammography van to campus. This convenient on-site service will provide eligible members of our college community with access to breast cancer screening without having to travel off campus.

We encourage eligible members of our community to take advantage of this important preventative health service. Early detection can play an important role in the successful treatment of breast cancer. Additional information regarding eligibility, appointments, registration, and what to bring can be seen in the flyer.

Let us come together this October to raise awareness, support one another, and promote the importance of early detection and breast health.

To ensure participants qualify for the mobile mammogram unit, please review the following criteria before attending:

• Must be 40 years of age or older.
• Women who are not be currently breastfeeding.
• Women who have not had a mammogram within the past year (12 months).
