Hall of Fame Gallery Takes Exhibition Online

With BCC’s move to distance learning, The Hall of Fame Gallery at Bronx Community College is pleased to present an online exhibition in celebration of Women’s History Month.
In Portraits from the Land, Colombian-American artist Lina Puerta explores the experience of Latino farm laborers. Her series of colorful mixed media works, inspired by the rich botanical imagery of Renaissance tapestries, sheds a light on the largely unrecognized workforce of farm workers who cultivate, nourish and harvest the plants that support our very existence.
Portraits from the Land will run from March 30th through April 30th.
