THE COVID EXPERIENCE: Spring 2020 Digital Design Student Show

Campus Events, Feature, News, Student Activities   •

The Art Department is now presenting a small sample of the work that our amazingly talented Digital Design and Studio Art students have produced.

Every semester, under the auspices of gallery directors Prof. MaryJo Ben-Nun and Prof. Andrea Ortuño, the Art Department mounts a survey of the work produced in each section, both traditional and digital.

But as we all know, Spring 2020 was a semester like none other. On March 19th, due to the spread of COVID-19, the College’s course offerings were converted to remote learning. It seemed our art show was to be a casualty.
Yet, thanks to the undaunted efforts of the gallery directors and the college webmaster Amy Michelin, we are mounting our first virtual art show.

This would not have been possible without the determination and dedication of our faculty, staff and tutors. Though separated physically, we continued to function remotely as a true team!
