Dear Parent / Guardian:

Welcome to the BCC Early Childhood Center. I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to join a team of professionals here at BCC. We are dedicated to the happy and healthy growth and development of every child. We thank you for seeking us out as a preschool program. We take your decision seriously and are committed to living up to the important responsibility of caring for your child. Our mission is to provide a caring and nurturing environment where your preschooler can learn and develop through age-appropriate activities.

As an introduction, permit me to share with you a few points about my background and accomplishments. My entire professional life has been devoted to working with children—from a classroom teacher to an Early Childhood Center director and head of school. I am experienced in general education, special education, school leadership, curriculum development, and professional growth. I am committed to leading our staff of outstanding role models and effective professionals as they provide the guidance, structure and support to the children.

Parents and guardians are an integral part of our program. We seek to form a partnership with you in fostering the healthy development of your child. You are welcome in the center at any time during the day to join your child for lunch, observe your child in the classroom, or talk to the teacher or director.

As you become part of our program, please feel free to share new ideas with us. We look forward to getting to know you, and offering you and your child a caring, dynamic and discovery-filled environment.
