️Bronx Community College held a solemn and heartfelt Prayer Vigil to honor and remember all those impacted by the recent tragic event at the Jet Set Nightclub in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The ceremony brought together members of the BCC community to stand in solidarity with those affected, offering prayers, comfort, and support.

Welcome remarks were delivered by Interim Assistant Vice President Student Success, Jessenia Paoli, followed by powerful reflections from Interim President Milton Santiago, Assistant Vice President Luisa Martich, Chairperson of the Association of Latino Faculty & Staff, and Alicia Leon, President of the Dominican Cultural Club.

We also thank CM Pierina Sanchez for joining us and standing in unity with our community during this difficult time.
