A Celebration of BCC’s Rad Grads

  Feature, News   •

The BCC Radiologic Technology Program has been around for a quarter of a century. But on May 15, this year’s graduates enjoyed something their predecessors did not — a pinning ceremony.

In an event organized by Assistant Professor Vivian Rodriguez, 29 students were recognized for their hard work and dedication over the past two years. From BCC, the graduates will go to hospitals, outpatient care facilities and other places that require those skilled in the techniques of imaging internal organs for diagnosis and treatment. Last year’s graduates had 100% job placement in less than six months.

Honored at the event was the founder of the Program, Professor Virginia Mishkin.
