BCC students who need day care for their three-year-olds need look no further than the Early Childhood Center (ECC) of Bronx Community College.

Under “3-K for All,” children born in 2018 can attend a free accredited preschool program this fall from 8:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., Monday through Friday, at absolutely no cost. This service is available to all BCC student-parents even if they only take one or two courses and even if they take those classes online. There are 15 3-K for All spots available for three-year-olds — and 15 more for four-year-olds.

“We will be here in the fall to welcome these families in person,” says ECC Director Jitinder Walia. Their children will have fun enjoying the normal classroom material and education in a developmentally appropriate environment. Instead of being stuck at home, they will have a wonderful place to be.”
