Apply to ASAP

Freshmen and transfer students interested in being part of ASAP at BCC must apply to CUNY before applying to the program. To expedite the application and selection process we urge these students to submit their application to CUNY and take the CUNY Skills Assessment Test as early as possible (please contact the admissions office for more information). ASAP will use these Skills Assessment scores to determine eligibility for the program.

In addition, students who meet ASAP selection criteria will be contacted by email and invited to an ASAP information session (dates and times for information sessions will be included in the mail communication). BCC continuing students who meet ASAP selection criteria will be contacted as well and invited to an information session. After the information session, interested students may apply to the program.

As part of the selection process, all applicants will be interviewed. Details about the interview will be provided at the information sessions.

Continued participation in ASAP will be assessed at the end of every semester, based on each student’s academic performance and commitment to program requirements.
