BCC’s Automotive Technology program — the only one of its kind in The City University of New York — was the star of a segment on PIX11 News last week. “Women in the Auto Mechanic Industry” featured Clement Drummond, director of Auto Tech, discussing how students who enter the program through BCC’s Advanced Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) initiative could enjoy a range of benefits at no cost other than their time and their commitment to succeed. Also appearing was Grace Claudio, a recent graduate of the program who is now a master technician at BMW of Manhattan. She was seen hard at work servicing the high-end, high-tech vehicles. The entire segment can be viewed above. View video https://pix11.com/2019/02/08/women-growing-in-the-auto-mechanic-industry/
