The new CUNY Climate Scholars (CSS) Fellowships will provide an opportunity for 10 CUNY undergraduates to participate in interdisciplinary education, research, internships, and teaching experiences throughout the program.

BCC students will be recruited for this program that provides stipends of up to $8,400 for students to do three months of research along with a 3-month internship beginning August 22. The research focuses on green energy and climate change.

The Fellowship program will run via ZOOM from August 22, 2022, through March 31, 2023.

Applicants must commit at least 20 hours per week for 6 months. Students should have a GPA of at least 3.0.  Low income, underrepresented minorities and those eager to learn about climate change and renewable energy innovation are encouraged to apply.
