CUNY Office of Research

The Office of Research of The City University of New York is inviting proposals for projects that will “deliver COVID-19 or climate change solutions that help pave the road to recovery for our region and beyond.” The deadline for submitting proposals is noon on January 15, 2021.

This program will fund up to eight COVID-19 research projects and eight climate change research projects with budgets not exceeding $40,000 each. Award announcements will be made in February 2021.

Seed-funding will be awarded for projects that combine expertise across disciplines and are geared toward providing a pathway to new external funding. This pathway should be clearly laid out in submitted proposals. There should be at least two principal investigators: the lead PI and at least one Co-PI from different disciplines, ideally from different CUNY colleges, schools and centers.

Further information and submission materials can be found at https://www.cuny.edu/research/faculty-resources/internal-funding/interdisciplinary-research-grant-program/
