Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, through the Anthem Foundation, has given the Bronx Community College Foundation a gift of $10,000 in support of students with disabilities at BCC. In October, National Disability Awareness Month, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield hosted BCC students in the LEADS (Linking Employment, Academics, and Disability Services) program in an event discussing workforce experience with the company’s associates in their downtown Manhattan office. LEADS helps to facilitate successful academic and career outcomes for students with disabilities.
