Dr. Grossman began teaching physics and electrical engineering at Bronx Community College after a long career as a research engineer at IBM. He is the author of more than a dozen publications and holds seven U.S. Patents in the areas of semiconductor devices, semiconductor devices processing, specialized computer software compilers and graphical interfaces. He is an expert at the mathematical modeling of transistors and the numerical solution of linear and nonlinear partial differential equations by the finite element method. He designed integrated circuits for several generations of high performance microprocessors for IBM servers, Apple laptop computers, and the Sony Playstation III. Dr. Grossman has received numerous awards for technical achievements and inventions.
