Dr. Magloire serves as the Speech Laboratory director, and is the faculty advisor for the speech-language pathology option. He is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. Select publications include: "Integrating General Education into a Communication Curriculum: The Bigger Picture Question," "The Teacher's Voice: Preserving a Valuable Asset" and "Who Wants to Teach a Diverse Student Body? Community College Missions and the Faculty Search Committee." His research and teaching interests are Pedagogy, differences in English accents in the Western hemisphere, diversity in education. Dr. Magloire holds a M.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Arizona.
