Luisa Martich is the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Bronx Community College, bringing over 30 years of experience in higher education IT leadership. In her role, she provides strategic direction for all campus technology initiatives, guiding the planning, implementation, and execution of projects that advance the college’s mission. She oversees enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, instructional and administrative technology, client services, and digital transformation. She also manages the Office of Information Technology’s budget, directs the daily operations of the IT management team, and leads the Information Technology Enterprise Project Management Office.
Recognized for her collaborative leadership and commitment to service excellence, Luisa works closely with academic and administrative partners to ensure technology services align with institutional goals while supporting operational, instructional, and strategic priorities. She strongly advocates for innovation, equity, and resilience, playing a key role in strengthening the college’s digital infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. Her leadership has driven the adoption of solutions that improve student services, teaching, and overall institutional performance. Luisa holds a Master’s in Information Security from Kaplan University and a Master’s in Management and Leadership from the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Through her work, Luisa continues to bridge the intersection of technology and education, supporting student success and fostering a secure, inclusive, and future-ready campus environment.
