Oshin Martin, Moronke

Prior to joining Bronx Community College as a full-time faculty in 2006, Dr. Oshin-Martin worked as a journalist and public relations executive for more than 15 years. She has written and presented conference papers on such topics as intercultural communication and education, teaching with technology to enhance student engagement, the relationship between bullying and incivility in the workplace and interpersonal-intercultural communication competency. Her chapter “Corporate social responsibility: Johnson & Johnson creating community relations and value through open-social innovation and partnership across sub-Saharan Africa” was included in the Anthology Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, & Ethical Public Relations: Strengthening Synergies with Human Resources (Emerald Publishing, 2017). His research and teaching interests are intercultural communication, organizational communication, international public-private partnership, technology and social innovation in developing countries. Dr. Oshin-Martin holds an M.A.in Journalism from New York University and a D.M. in Management from the University of Maryland University College, Graduate School of Management & Technology.
