Dr. James Webb has written four full-length plays, including Black Widow, Sibling Rivalry, Josiah Returns, and The Contract (Lorraine Hansberry National Playwriting Award), and penned a children’s hip hop musical, Wrestling with Angels. Each summer, Dr. Webb serves as Resident Playwright for the Irene C. Edmonds Youth Theatre in Tallahassee, Florida.  His research on collaborative playbuilding and process drama has been published in the Continuum Journal and William Mitchell Law Review. Dr. Webb's research and teaching interests are Theatre for Young Audiences, Drama Across the Curriculum, Collaborative Playbuilding, Process Drama. Dr. Webb holds a M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Florida and Ph.D. in Educational Theatre from New York University.
