Associate Professor Gerard Weber completed a doctorate in sociocultural anthropology at the CUNY Graduate Center and teaches anthropology and sociology at BCC. He has a two-decade research interest in Romania that has involved learning about changes to work, retirement, and health as a result of the country's transformation from socialism to capitalism.
