Born and raised in Ethiopia, Dr. Tsegaye Wodajo earned his B.A. and M.A. in English from Addis Ababa University. Before moving to the United States for more graduate studies, Dr. Wodajo taught English at Asmara and Addis Ababa Universities. He received his Ph.D. in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Wodajo is a member of New York African Studies Association. Courses taught include: ENG 9 (Writers' Workshop for ESL Students), ENG 110 (Fundamentals of Composition and Rhetoric), ENG 112 (Composition and Rhetoric II), ENG 114 (Written Composition and Prose Fiction), and ENG 148 (Afro-Caribbean Literature).
