On November 3, Americans will be going to the polls. In person and by mail, they will cast their ballots in a major election for everything from their local state assemblymember to the president of the United States. Will you be one of them? Only if you’re registered to vote.

If you aren’t, that’s easy to solve. Join your fellow Broncos online on Thursday, July 30 at 1:00 p.m. for Math Start’s “Catch the Spirit: Virtual Voter Registration Drive.” This event is a part of Math Start Spirit Week, a time for BCC students to engage and stir up the spirit of excellence, engagement and civic responsibility within us all.

If you’re disillusioned and disconnected from politics, ​or if civic engagement is a new experience for you, here’s your chance to become educated and inspired and involved in an election that will have major impact on your future.

The first hour will feature a Voter Registration Panel Discussion with local political leaders. In the second hour, an adviser will walk you through the process of registering in virtual Break Out Rooms.
