Blackstone VolunteersEntrepreneurs are Creatives, Writers, & Strategists: Call for Faculty and Staff Volunteers — ASAP and FIRST YEAR PROGRAM

BCC’s Blackstone LaunchPad, ASAP and FYP programs are collaborating on an in-person Workplace Challenge on Wednesday, April 26th from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in North Hall and Library [NL], Room 116.

The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for students to develop, practice, and demonstrate new skills including, identified academic, technical and occupational skills, problem-solving and research skills, presentation skills and teamwork skills. Furthermore, the goal is to provide an opportunity for students to explore and practice skills within the entrepreneurial field, be exposed to a network of business partners in the field and to enhance the relevance of academic instruction through the application of applied knowledge.

During the event teams of 4-5 students will come up with an innovative way to solve a challenge presented by The Fonseca Group.

We would like to engage with BCC faculty and staff to serve as industry coaches for this event. As industry coaches, you will have the opportunity to support students on aspects of the challenge such as marketing, design and strategic best practices. Please note you can coach students in an area of passion. You are not limited to coaching only in the area you specialize in through your work at BCC.

If you are interested in participating in the event, please complete this form by Friday, April 14, 2023. Thank you in advance for your support.
