Fall 2020 Virtual Student Town Hall

  Uncategorized   •

We are at the start of new and unique academic year, and we welcome all of our new and returning Broncos.    The bulk of you are taking your courses remotely and some of you have courses on campus, either way, the entire faculty and staff are here to help you.  For those students coming to campus, BCC is adhering to strict health and safety protocols, as you have already experienced with the Everbridge Health Screening App, social distancing markers and signs, masks and gloves for lab work, and the plethora of hand sanitizer stations throughout the two buildings you currently have access to on campus.  Our Re-Opening Plan has been approved by CUNY Central Office and can be found here: http://www.bcc.cuny.edu/bcc-return-to-campus-safely-re-occupancy-plan/

We wish to invite you to the first Student Town Hall of the semester, to provide you with important updates and hear directly from you on your concerns or questions.

The Town Hall will convene on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 1:00pm.   To participate in this event, you must RSVP at the BCC Student Town Hall RSVP Link no later than noon on Wednesday, September 9.   You will receive a Zoom link on the morning of the Town Hall.

Joining us at the virtual podium will be our President, Dr. Thomas A. Isekenegbe, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lester Sandres Rápalo, Vice President for Finance and Administration, Ms. Kay Ellis, Dr. Margaret Nelson, Director of Financial Aid and of course Ms. Priscilla Tokor, your 2020-2021 SGA President.

Until then, stay safe, persevere, and check your BCC email and our website for updates and developments as they occur.

Remember to wear your mask and practice social distancing!
