Graduate NYC logoDr. Stacia Reader was awarded a two year, $200,000 grant from GraduateNYC’s College Completion Innovation Fund in support of the Health Careers Pathway Project (HCPP).  The purpose of the HCPP is to increase student momentum by targeting the large number of students who enter the College with the intent to pursue nursing without an understanding of the rigors of the program and the alternative options.  Under the leadership of Dr. Reader, a cross-campus collaborative of faculty and staff will work together to develop an AAS in Health Sciences; train all advisors on the many health-related degree programs offered at BCC and the associated career pathways; and provide health-degree information sessions for students.
