The BCC Male Empowerment Network and In A Woman Productions are presenting a “Pre-Kwanzaa Film Festival Virtual Youth Symposium” on Friday, December 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This free day of film viewing and virtual production workshops for young people will explore the creative process and careers in the motion picture industry. Learn how to become a director, screenwriter, camera operator, set designer or lighting director.

The event will also honor television star Charles Malik Whitfield and songwriter Bruce Miller of MJB Productions.
