From the time I began my position, Dr. Williams was always supportive. Shortly after I started at BCC, an opportunity arose to attend the first Freshman Year Experience Conference at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Williams asked me to meet with her. She suggested I bring a BCC team so we could begin to focus on the first year when we returned to campus. As a new employee, I was impressed by her interest in me and in the freshman year.

There were other times over the years when she was there for me. I will always have fond memories of Dr. Carolyn Williams.
