During Dr. Williams’ 15-year tenure as President of Bronx Community College, I was a student, a faculty member and part of the staff. From my lens, Dr. Williams will be remembered for her strength, good will and grace. Her framework that students’ success is the College’s success is a philosophy that guides my work. The first letter of support I received for my application to a doctoral program was written by President Williams. She helped me feel confidence and comfort in doing the best I could do for others.
