I especially appreciated Carolyn Williams because she promoted creativity and innovation on the part of the faculty. Dr. Williams encouraged faculty to initiate original projects for Faculty Development Grants, helping many of us to grow and explore new directions, and to enrich the college.

Dr. Williams was kind, warm and approachable. She led the College with grace and good humor. I remember her fondly.
